this was my contribution to the homage covers we're doing this year for DC's 75th anniversary. this one being after the very amazing Marshall Rogers' cover to Detective #471- [link]

also, yes, the background is similar to the one used in my personal batman beyond return of the joker piece [link] . i figured it couldn't hurt to ride off the already circulated vibe of that piece for this one ;)
