Batman: Li'L Gotham by duss005 Batman: Li'L Gotham by duss005
it's finally here- the project i've been pushing to DC for almost 5 years now, see's launch tomorrow on Halloween. The series that we're calling The Calender of Small Events is a brand new series written by myself and long time partner in crime Derek Fridolfs :icondfridolfs: and completely illustrated by myself in this style. For the next entire year, see these guys in short holiday themed stories. LOTS of fun, and honestly, even more fun for me to draw. Read more about it here before it launches tomorrow-

The series will be available for purchase download for just .99 cents each month ( yes, before folks like myself moan and groan, its a digital first- which means it'll hit print later one, but released in digital format FIRST) thru the DC website [link].

If you've ever dug this stuff, here's me now askin you to join us and really make this book a success. thanks y'all!

18x18 watercolor on 300lb hotpress.

This is fantastic! You make excellent use of lighting in your paintings (i.e. their costumes and clothing). The expressions and interactions of the characters are great.

Hey, I just picked up an issue of your new comic at Barnes and Noble, and totally fell in love with the style! Love all the characters here, especially the way you drew the Mad Hatter. Awesome work! :D

Just bought the print version of this and it is amazing! I'm doing a Cover of the Week blog posting but as I was listing all the details I noticed two characters that I wasn't familiar with. Doing some research I found the identity of one (Colin Wilkes) but am still unsure of the identity of the man playing the guitar. Who is this character?

I love how lively and chaotic this is, I always have to just close out of the window in order to make myself stop looking at every different little bit of it. :D Eagerly anticipating the print version so I can shove it in people's faces at every possible opportunity!

Cool! I actually don't recognize two of 'em--the guy next to the Carpenter, and the one with the guitar--but I'm delighted to be wrong in my first impression that Witchboy's cat was in Mr. Freeze's old bubble helmet. ;)
