I'd love to hear your recommendations on series of Batman comics I should start reading to get a good insight into the graphic novel history.

ah, i think my favs are teh same as most people- killing joke, year 1, dark knight returns.

of course, heart of hush! haha, and nice short stories like teh private case book hardcover before it.

i havent been up to date with the recent books outside my own, but i did follow the batman b&w trades that came out a while back. nice short stories that you can easily jump into.
