just wrapped up a cover for batman and had TONS of paint left over, mostly gray and blues, so i decided to jsut color up an old piece.

i did this in my sketchbook on the plane flying back from chicago 2 years ago. i remember my buddy Canete was saying something to the sort of how the drawing ( and myself) sucked but at least the gargoyles looked okay. : ( . i closed the book and pretended to sleep the rest of the flight home... while i was really crying.

i cried and hid it until now.

on an almost unrelated note- the Gargoyles animation to me was by FAR, one of the BEST animated series ever. i remember the OJ trials coming on and they'd interrupt Gargoyles to show the trials. i instantly felt he was guilty out of anger.

Haw! How could he say something like that? This is great. I love the way you used those grays and blues to make the Bats and Bird really pop while still giving attention to the gargoyles, too.

I love it when bad-ass characters are drawn cutely. They look like they're on the prowl for trouble :meow: your style here looks great! I love the gargoyles...all 6 of them. :giggle:

I also love the Gargoyles series, it was my absolute favorite. They just don't make shows like that anymore. :C I certainly wouldn't want it to be re-made though.
