pencils and dry brush i think. photshop for color.

the coolest part is i got these two pieces printed in the back of DarkHorse's "blade of the immortal" comic, the first time they ever did full color art on the back. my favorite book btw.

the not so cool part is i almost got busted big time because im exclusive to DC when it comes to comics. In the end, we all agreed it was fan art and they gave me the " let us know next time before it gets solicited"

and very bad fan art at that. look at that coloring!

that's actually the manji symbol, a sign of prosperity and good fortune in the ancient world ( goes counterclockwise). way and long before the nazi perverted it to their own swastika ( goes clockwise) and usually a symbol of magic or soemthing.

I love how when you read enough of the Blade trades in quick succession you become able to recite that whole Swastika speech in the front line by line ;)

Also, HOW much of a legend is Mackie?

I think it is a Buddhist symbol. The symbol aside from being tilted counterclockwise is also used 'untilted' like the Christian cross. It's a good luck charm.
